This month, I've been a very good girl and restrained myself from buying too many books—mostly because I just spent quite a lot of money for my trip to Japan this upcoming May ! In March, I got a total of 12 books ( 10 Indonesian books—which all I received from authors/publishers—and 2 English books). In conclusion, I just purchased 2 books this month and I've already read some of the books on this list, so I think I deserved a pat on the back. Without further ado, here are the books that I acquired in the month of March! :)
Love in Marrakech by Irene Dyah | Fiction | Book Review
Love in Adelaide by Arumi E | Fiction | Book Review
Love in Edinburgh by Indah Hanaco | Fiction | Book Review
Love in Paris by Silvarani | Fiction | Book Review
These four books which I received from the publisher, Gramedia Pustaka Utama, is a series of books called Around the World with Love. I was given the opportunity to become one of the hosts for the blog tours of these books which will happen in April on my blog. There will be giveaways for these books as well so if you're interested, keep a lookout for my posts in the upcoming month!
Cat and Dog by Park Hee Jung | Fiction | Book Review
I read an early-ebook copy of this K-Toon and this month I finally received the paperback copy from the publisher, Penerbit Haru. This is the first book in a series and I'm definitely looking forward to know what's going to happen next to the characters. I really love the artwork in this K-Toon because it's so detailed and the colors are really nice too. You can read my review on this book if you'd like to know more about the story :)
Daylight by Robin Wijaya | Fiction | Book Review
Nightfall by Robin Wijaya | Fiction | Book Review
Too Close to Resist by Nicole Helm (bonus) | Fiction
I participated in the blog tour for these two books: Daylight and Nightfall back in January, and only now did I receive the paperback copy. Thank you so much to the author, Robin Wijaya, for giving me the chance to read and review your books. And special thanks for the additional book published by Elex Media—though I think it's not something that I would read XD.
Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys | Fiction | Book Review
I've read the e-book copy of this book back in February when it was just released (seriously couldn't wait until my paperback copy arrived) and I absolutely loved it! I actually pre-ordered the book on Book Depository, but as usual it arrived about 3-4 weeks after it was published. I do not regret buying this paperback copy even though I've already read it because that cover is just so stunning! I wouldn't mind a poster of that cover hanging on my bedroom wall <3
The next book that I also ordered from Book Depository is part of a series that I'm slowly collecting. I heard a lot of good things about this series and the author, Brandon Sanderson. So I'm definitely looking forward to starting this series once I've collected the whole series! Beautiful cover on this one as well :))
My Colorful Diary for Teens by Gigitz | Non-Fiction
A few weeks ago, I received an offer from a fellow BBI member, Raafi @ Ough, My Books! to review this book. Well, this book is actually not something to be read, because it's basically a coloring book. But I will try to make some time and color them in to show you what it looks like on the inside.
Love Theft #2 by Prisca Primasari | Fiction | Book Review
The last book in this haul is a sequel that I've been waiting for a while because the first book just doesn't satisfy me enough. The author herself, Prisca Primasari, sent me this book, and I'm very thankful for that. The second book of this duology also completes the book cover that forms a ribbon when placed side by side with the first one.
Alright, those are all the books I got in the month of March! A pretty small haul, right? I think in the upcoming months I will try and keep my hauls as small as possible because I'm currently saving for other things as well. What are the books that you got in March? Have you read any of the books that I listed in this haul? Feel free to share your book haul posts or thoughts in the comments below ;)
