Hello hello! It's the time for another Top 5 Wednesday! I missed last week's topic because I couldn't find 5 people to list as my favorite jokester. But I think it'll be quite easy for this week's topic which is to choose Top 5 Books You Wanted to Start Yesterday. I honestly have so many books I want to read, and I scheduled to read them but they always get pushed back further and further.... Most of the time the reason these books got pushed is because of books that I received from publishers that I have to read first. Anyways, I'm going to list the books I wanted to start yesterday with hope that I'll get to these books very very soon! So here's the list in no particular order ;)
A Clash of Kings (A Song of Ice and Fire, #2) by George R.R. Martin
It's been almost 6 months since I read the first book of this series. And my plan is to watch the first season of the TV series (to refresh my memory) before jumping into the second book. But time hasn't been kind to me lately, and I was really with work and stuff so starting a TV series doesn't fit in my schedule. I seriously miss the world of Westeros and all the wicked characters in it. I hope I can read this book by mid-2015. Fingers crossed.
Legend (Legend, #1) by Marie Lu
I really want to get back into another dystopian world, and I vowed to start this series when the third/final book is released. However, things didn't go as I planned. I'm definitely planning to start reading the series this year and hopefully this time it will happen.
Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn
After reading Gone Girl last year, I've purchased Gillian Flynn's other books and I'm really eager to read them all. I heard it wasn't as good as Gone Girl, but I still have quite a high expectation on this book. Need to read this book ASAP.
Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
I've only read one book by Rainbow Rowell so far, which is Eleanor and Park. This is one of Rainbow Rowell's most well-known book, so I've been planning to read it very soon. But it keeps getting pushed back further down in my TBR pile. Next month, maybe? But I don't want to make promises I can't keep :1
I really really want to watch the movie adaptation, because it's Sam Claflin! However, I wanted to read the original book first before that. I already purchased the book, and I'll read it this month if I have spare time. And of course, I'll watch and review the movie adaptation as well ;)
I can probably list more than 5 books if I have to, because I have TOO many books I want to read as soon as possible. What are some of the books you've been wanting to read, but kept getting pushed back? Feel free to share the books you want to read, or share your Top 5 Wednesday links so I can check it out ;) Okay, bye now!
