OH MY GOD. The excitement. Official trailer for the last installment of The Hobbit movie adaptation trilogy, The Battle of the Five Armies, is out. And if you haven't seen it yet, please check it out below. I can't tell you enough how beautifully made that trailer is. Just amazing.
"Everything I did.... I did for them."
THE FEELS (!!). Even the trailer is so grand and amazing and dramatic; I can't even imagine how the actual movie is going to be. The background music literally made me want to cry ;___; It gave me goosebumps and I still watched it over and over again; although I know it's just a trailer. I seriously want to give a standing ovation for the trailer. Here's a brief synopsis of what's going to happen in the third and final installment of The Hobbit movie adaptation:
Having reclaimed their homeland from the Dragon Smaug, the Company has unwittingly unleashed a deadly force into the world. Enraged, Smaug rains his fiery wrath down upon the defenseless men, women and children of Lake-town. Obsessed above all else with his reclaimed treasure, Thorin sacrifices friendship and honor to hoard it as Bilbo’s frantic attempts to make him see reason drive the Hobbit towards a desperate and dangerous choice. But there are even greater dangers ahead. Unseen by any but the Wizard Gandalf, the great enemy Sauron has sent forth legions of Orcs in a stealth attack upon the Lonely Mountain. As darkness converges on their escalating conflict, the races of Dwarves, Elves and Men must decide – unite or be destroyed. Bilbo finds himself fighting for his life and the lives of his friends in the epic Battle of the Five Armies, as the future of Middle-Earth hangs in the balance. (source)
"I will not hide while others fight our battles for us!"
There are definitely a lot of familiar faces: Elrond, Galadriel, Saruman, and even Sauron are making appearances in this movie.
If I remember correctly, the book didn't really mention in detail who
got involved in the battle. However, the producer/director did add in
more details taken from the appendices written at the back of Lord of
the Rings trilogy. Which is totally awesome, because I didn't get to
read those yet. So compared to the book version of The Hobbit, I'm
pretty sure the movie adaptation of the battle will be much more epic
and full of thrill. I have to say the computer graphics in this movie is just the best thing ever. (thumbs up)
Although most of the trailer focuses on the Battle of the Five Armies, there's a good portion that's dedicated to the romance part between Kili and Tauriel. Which still bothers me, by the way. I did mention this as well in my movie adaptation review for Desolation of Smaug; because that kind of feels out of place, since I don't think the book display any romance between the two. I don't even remember seeing Tauriel's character in the book. However, I'll just have to deal with it even though I don't understand the reason behind their romance."You started this... You will forgive me if I finish it."
One person I'm obviously excited to see is of course none other than Legolas ♥♥ Yayy, we will have the chance to see him fighting orcs with that elegant blonde hair of his. I'm pretty sure I'm going to fangirl everytime he showed up on screen. I'm just a bit sad that now he looks a bit older in The Hobbit when he was supposed to be younger than when he was in LOTR which happened after The Hobbit :( But he's still strikingly handsome, btw. No doubt.
Anyways, I'm super super anticipating the release of this movie in Indonesia. It's supposed to come out some time in December (mid-December, I think?), and I hope someone would want to accompany me watch it. I certainly can't wait to see the dramatic and grand ending of The Hobbit trilogy. I am 100% sure it's not going to be disappointing. Who's excited like meee? :))))
"You've won the mountain, is that not enough?"
Waduh... sama banget, Stef! Tapi, tetep aja ganggu. Meski gitu, aku tetep mau nonton, kok. Epik banget pasti scene perangnya. Hehehe.
ReplyDeleteHahaha iya lumayan maksa sih, kalo Aragorn-Arwen masih lbh bisa diterima xD
DeleteYuupp, aku juga gk sabar liat scene perangnya ;))
