We have finally reached the last month of the year, oh my God, still can't believe how time flies so fast. I was quite busy this month with a lot of things to do and errands to run. Even though it felt like I barely had time to read, I think I still managed to keep up with my reading progress and read 6 books in total (the same amount as last month). Which isn't so bad for me personally, even though 4 books are Indonesian and only 2 are English books. So here are the books I've read and reviewed this month, non-review posts in November, and a list of books I'm planning to read in December.
Rindu by Tere-Liye
My first read of the month is quite a thick book, that tells a travel story of a group of people going to Mecca. The plot revolves around the character, and revealed each of them slowly as the story progressed. It's quite slow-paced, but there are many good points to learn from in this book :) 3/5 stars ✮✮✮
Bonus Track by Osamu Koshigaya
Another book by Osamu Koshigaya, and still has a bit of fantasy-feel in the story. It's about a friendship between a man and a ghost; and also their self-discovery as they tried to find who the culprit of the accident is. Yet another slow-pace story, but it ended in a heartwarming way; so I gave it a 3.5/5 rating. ✮✮✮½
Cheeky Romance by Kim Eun Jeong
Finally got to read another Korean-translated this month, and I absolutely love this book! It's fun and entertaining. Got me laughing really hard several times because of how unbelievably ridiculous the scenes are. Somehow it feels like I'm watching a romantic-comedy Korean drama. So 5/5! ✮✮✮✮✮
Heart and Soul by Windhy Puspitadewi
I always want to read anything to Windhy Puspitadewi published, just because I really love her writing. This book is a teenlit about friendship, family, and of course romance—which is like the must-have themes for teenlit books :D There's a gloomy background to the characters, and the flow of the story is really nice. I just felt that the story is quite predictable (even though I didn't expected the ending). In the end I rate it 4/5. ✮✮✮✮
Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn
THIS BOOK. It's probably the highlight of my November read, because I think I've never read a book this wicked/twisted. I almost gave up reading this book because the start was really slow, but thankfully I gave it a second chance. After the first 200 pages, everything in this book just blew my mind and the characters kept lingering in my head eve after I finished it. THE ENDING. Oh God. Just go read my review if you want to know more about it. Definitely a 5/5. ✮✮✮✮✮
I've Got Your Number by Sophie Kinsella
After that crazy read, I needed something light so I picked this book up. And it was exactly the kind of book I need. It's a fun and cute book that keeps me giggling throughout the story. As I've said in my review, reading this book totally feels like watching a romantic-comedy movie. It's a very refreshing read indeed. 5/5 too for this one ;)) ✮✮✮✮✮
After that, I picked up another dark and gloomy book: Hannibal (Hannibal Lecter, #3) by Thomas Harris, and am still currently reading it right now—because it's a hunk. But hopefully I will be finished with it early December since I have so many books waiting to be read. And for the non-review posts, I think I'm quite productive this month because of all the tags that I did (Top 5 Wednesday, Top Ten Tuesday, and Taylor Swift Book Tag). I also watched 2 movie adaptation, so that adds to the list. And of course my post about traveling to South Korea! Not to forget my first book cafe post on this blog, which was really fun to write ;)) Below I also listed the books I'm planning to read in December ;)

As I've said in the beginning of this post, I've been quite busy this past month with a lot of work needed to be done. But as usual, I'm easily distracted by all the k-dramas and variety shows I want to watch. I finished watching a drama recently called Liar Game, and it was sooo good! It's a drama where you can't even trust the hero/heroine, because the earlier episodes did remind us to "Never trust anyone." It's a really good drama if you like something that's full of conspiracy (and without romance included). And it's quite short too, only 12 episodes long. The drama ended recently, but I'm pretty sure you can already find it in the DVD store if you'd like to watch it. I also started watching a new drama called The King's Face, a historical drama about palace/political conflicts. There has been 4 episodes so far, and things are getting intense. It's starring my favorite singer/actor, Seo In Guk, so it's a must-watch for me ;))
And about work, I've recently joined POMMÉ DE TERRÉ (www.pdtworld.com) as their graphic designer. They sell authorized premium branded goods such as: Nudie Jeans, Dr. Denim, and Herschel Supply Co. for man fashion. They're currently expanding the brands to a much bigger variety in the future. You can also check their social media accounts; and of course help us by pressing the Like and Follow button :))) My Christmas Giveaway next month will also be sponsored by POMMÉ DE TERRÉ, so don't forget to keep an eye on that event ;) Oh, and there'll also be a Giveaway over at @pdtworld Instagram account. All you have to do is just follow and regram a picture :)) The prizes are 2 Ben Sherman really comfortable t-shirts.
