This survey is made by The Perpetual Page-Turner, and I discovered it from some of BBI-ers book blogs: Ren's Little Corner and Fiction Book Review :) It's always fun for me to do this kind of challenge, so I'm really glad I stumbled upon it. The title says it all. This is a survey with the letters A to Z as the beginning; and it's all about books. So without longer introduction, here are my answers for the survey :)
Author you’ve read the most books from:
I am actually really bad at remembering this kind of thing, but thanks to Goodreads I don't have to think hard. It turns out the author I read most books from is Nicholas Sparks, with total of 16 books! It's no wonder, because I've read all of his books except Three Weeks with My Brother.
Best Sequel Ever:
Currently Reading:Should I just say Catching Fire? I don't know, I can't remember that well.
Runaway Ran by Mia Arsjad.
Drink of Choice While Reading:
Iced chocolate milk, iced tea, iced coffee, or just plain water.
E-reader of Physical Books?:
Fictional Character You Probably Would Have Actually Dated In High School:I'm still rooting for physical books, although I never tried reading using an E-reader before. Maybe someday I'll give it a try. But for now I still have too many physical books left to read.
Peeta Mellark? I don't know. Even after I'm finished with The Hunger Games for so long, I still have that desire to have a boyfriend like Peeta. Oh, well.
Glad You Gave This Book A Chance:
TherMelian series by Shienny M.S. I said this before in 55 Reading Questions post; this is a series that I didn't expect to like but did. So I'm really glad I gave this book a chance although I had my doubts at first.
Hidden Gem Book:
I'm sorry, can't think of one right now.
Important Moment in your Reading Life:
Just Finished:When I found Goodreads for the first time in my life back in 2010 is a very important moment in my reading life. It seems like Goodreads gives an extra boost to my reading; with all the challenge, progress updates, and also review writing. Joining BBI (Blogger Buku Indonesia) was also one of the important moments, because that was when I starting writing book reviews in this blog. I think reading and writing is a good pair, and I absolutely enjoyed it.
Kind of Books You Won't Read:The Return of the King (The Lord of the Rings, #3) by J.R.R. Tolkien and Selama Kita Tersesat di Luar Angkasa by Maggie Tiojakin.
Longest Book You’ve Read:I actually am willing to try reading kinds of books, especially if that book is known to be excellent. But a genre I would probably never read is: erotica. Even though I'm considered legal enough to read it. And also maybe horror.
Once again, receiving help from Goodreads, I found out the longest book I've read is Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling - in which the edition I'm reading is 768 pages long.
Major book hangover because of:
Number of Bookcases You Own:The Hunger Games trilogy. I was enjoying it too much, that even after I moved on to other books I still kept thinking about Peeta.
I have 4 tall bookshelves in my bedroom, and the rest are kind of like cabinets; which I also used to store my books. One Book You Have Read Multiple Times:
Preferred Place To Read:Unfortunately I didn't have the time to reread a book. How can I dare reread a book when I still have so many waiting to be read? ;__;
I mostly read in my bedroom, but actually I enjoyed reading in coffee shops as well.Quote that inspires you/gives you all the feels from a book you’ve read:
“I give myself a good cry if I need it, but then I concentrate on all good things still in my life.” ― Mitch Albom, Tuesdays With MorrieReading Regret:
Series You Started And Need To Finish (all books are out in series):I regret not being to be able to read faster. There are so many great and awesome books I want to read, but my reading speed cannot keep up with it.
Three of your All-Time Favorite Books:The Bartimaeus Trilogy. I've read The Amulet of Samarkand and The Golem's Eye, and I enjoyed both very much. But I still haven't continue reading Ptolemy's Gate and The Ring of Solomon yet. I hope I can finish reading this series soon!
Unapologetic Fangirl For:It's always a tough decision for me to decide my favorite books, especially an All-Time favorite. I guess my choice will have to be Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling, The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch. I still have tons of favorites, though.
Very Excited For This Release More Than All The Others:The Hunger Games! I think I mentioned this plenty of times in this survey. But I'm definitely not sorry for fangirling over Katniss and Peeta. Really can't wait for Catching Fire movie to release soon!
Allegiant (Divergent, #3) by Veronica Roth. Because I need to read this series soon! And I don't want to start reading it before the series end. I'm too afraid of cliff-hanging situations.
Worst Bookish Habit:
My addiction to book-shopping. Which is why I'm trying really hard to control it these days.X Marks The Spot: Start at the top left of your shelf and pick the 27th book:
I randomly chose a bookshelf. So it's Laskar Pelangi by Andrea Hirata.Your latest book purchase:
ZZZ-snatcher book (last book that kept you up WAY late):Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking by Susan Cain. I'm really excited to read this book! Since I'm an introvert myself, I think this book can make me know myself better. Because I always felt bad when I'm being compared to my extrovert brother.
Last book? Umm.. Probably Every Day by David Levithan.
