Happy Holiday Stories

HI everyone! :) 

i just got back from my holiday to Singapore, and i have to say it's a very MERRY holiday! i was staying at a hotel in Orchard Road, and everywhere you look you can definitely feel the christmas spirit floating in the air.

i know it's pretty late, but i'd like to say once again MERRY CHRISTMAS! since my last greeting post was scheduled before i went on holiday ;) in this post, i'd like to share a little bit of my holiday journey and also my christmas presents this year! *a little hint: i got lots of books this year! yayy! :D*

the picture above is the christmas decoration along the Orchard Road. very very pretty. the lights are so bright and colorful, you can really feel the holiday spirit. there are also plenty of photobooths where you can take pictures. but there are so many people in line, i didn't get a chance to take a picture :( so i just took the picture from afar. there are always events every night, like choirs singing on the sidewalk, acrobatic performance, people playing musical instruments an many more. 

and now i'm going to share the foods i enjoyed in singapore! :)

i actually ate a LOT of food in Singapore, but i'll share the ones that i love the most! ;) the first picture is a box of chocolate i bought from Awfully Chocolate; a chocolate store that sells many kinds of delicious chocolate flavors. first, the box is really cute! a special packaging for Christmas! i chose White Chocolate with Peanut Butter truffles. they are so delicious! very sweet ;) it's kind of similar to the white chocolate KitKat though. the second one is my favorite drink: Milo Dinosaur! it's a regular milo, but with stacks of Milo milk powder on top. absolutely WONDERFUL. the third one is Oreo Dunkin Donuts. i got this at the airport, but it was very delicious ;) next is the $1 Ice Cream! i think this one is a MUST when you go to Singapore. the queue is very long in the holiday season. i have to wait for about 15 mins to be able to get one. the last one is my favorite dessert! Banana Pancake! i ate this at Honeymoon Dessert in Paragon shopping mall. one of the best dessert i've ever tasted (i'm actually very addicted to bananas).

NOT TO FORGET. i went to Kinokuniya bookstore! yayyy! 

probably one of the happiest place on earth for me ;)

Kinokuniya's theme this christmas is: Romancing Christmas. i like it. romancing christmas with books. :D

actually, i can never get enough of browsing books in Kinokuniya. but my arms has its' limit. i can't carry books more than 10 i guess :P

so those are the 9 books i got from Kinokuniya! it has been a very happy time shopping at Kinokuniya bookstore. i wish they could open a store in Surabaya :(
my book shopping list still continues, probably in the next post. i've got my package from gramedia.com and also kutukutubuku.com and some i shopped from Gramedia bookstore. i will also update more info related with the clearance sale. :)
